SCOPE ACCOUNTABILITY DUTIES Accept tenant rent payments and prepare the necessary records of the transactions. Post the correct rent for lease-ins, rent changes and maintenance charges to tenant accounts. Prepare notices of delinquent accounts. Assist emergency technicians (fire, health, police, etc.) and tenants in emergencies. Check and update computer printouts. Maintain tenant files. Maintain the waiting list and offer and show units to prospective residents, perform lease-ins and process vacating residents. Prepare work orders and maintain up-to-date work order log. Take applications and reexaminations. Notify residents of inspections and send notices as required. Perform other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: Working conditions are stressful at times due to volume of workload. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to meet the public and interact with residents and Authority personnel in a positive and effective manner. Ability to retain proprietary information as confidential. Ability to comply with Authority attendance policies. Possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. Appropriate office skills. Familiarity and experience with basic computer principles and usage. Spanish language skills preferred. Physical: Near vision sufficient to read and prepare reports, logs and computer products. Ability to enter and access all areas of all building and dwelling units assigned. Ability to write reports, maintain logs and enter data in the computer. Hearing and speech sufficient to communicate clearly with others by telephone and in person. |
