SCOPE - Perform floor and carpet maintenance and cleaning necessary for the upkeep and operation of Project. ACCOUNTABILITY - Directly responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor or Project Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITITES Complete Work Orders assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Project Manager Clean bathrooms, kitchens and ranges/refrigerators. Remove trash and garbage. Scrub, mop, wax and buff floors. Supply washrooms with soap, towels, toilet paper, etc. Vacuum and shampoo carpet and upholstery. Perform minor maintenance, rehab and grounds work. Comply with OCHA policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Project Manager. WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment as well as field environment. Possible exposure to inclement weather, dusty, dirty, noisy, noxious fumes, solvents and unsanitary conditions. Stress due to volume, emergencies and time schedules. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High School Diploma, or equivalent, with vocational school training, or three years experience in janitorial tasks, or a combination thereof. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with others, deal tactfully with the public, and retain proprietary information as confidential. Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to comply with Authority attendance policies. A valid Oklahoma Driver License with an acceptable driving record. PHYSICAL - Able to lift, raising or lowering, twenty-five pounds. Near vision sufficient to read work orders, computer generated products, and forms. Hearing and speech sufficient to communicate effectively in person, by radio and telephone. Ability to stretch, bend stoop, lift and reach for extended periods of time. Ability to enter and access all areas of all buildings and dwelling units for which responsible. |
