How to Apply
Thank you for your interest in the Public Housing Program offered by OCHA. Beginning, September 18, 2017, the Oklahoma City Housing Authority started accepting Preliminary Applications for our Public Housing Program. Applicants will be contacted by mail of incomplete applications and will not be processed until completed. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list according to OCHA preference(s) and the date and time their complete application is received by OCHA unless notified in writing of their ineligibility within 10 business days of receipt of the complete application. Preliminary eligibility does not guarantee entrance into the Public Housing Program. Your final eligibility will be determined after your name has reached the top of the waiting list.
OCHA’s Public Housing Program owns and operates approximately 3065 tobacco-free units that range from high-rise apartments to scattered site single-family homes. You may apply at any of our locations either, Family properties or Senior Citizens/Disabled properties, or at our Central Office located at 1800 Northeast Fourth Street during normal business hours. There are also applications available to print for you to complete and then return or mail in to our Central Office.

You may turn in completed applications at any of our properties listed at the links above Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. You may also turn in or mail completed applications to our Central Office at 1800 Northeast Fourth Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73117. Our Central Office hours are Monday through Thursday 7am to 5pm & Friday 8am to 5pm.
