Public Housing

Public housing is a government-assisted housing program established to provide decent, safe, and affordable rental homes for eligible low-income families, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities in Oklahoma City. Unlike Housing Choice Vouchers (where the government pays a private landlord), public housing properties are owned and managed directly by the Oklahoma City Housing Authority.
